The village of Camlough which is mainly in the townland of CROSStakes its name from the nearby CAMLOUGH LAKE which is the source of the CAMLOUGH RIVER. CAMLOUGH MOUNTAIN(423m) stands on the east side of the lake [Loch Chamloch c.1840].
